This modification was made to convert the turn signals to combination turn signal/running lights. The red lenses were obtained from an auto parts store as 4 inch marker llights. The backing plate is drilled out leaving only two small tabs for screws. (this forms a white ring which fits inside the turn signal housing), The lenses simply snap in place, invisible mounting. The wiring was possible due to the fact that I used the OEM front turn signal sockets which have a dual filament bulb. Simply spliced the turn signal leads and the third wire to the running lights.
